ABOUT STORM CHASING At Mesochase, we believe in safe and ethical storm chasing. That means several things. First off you respect the safety of others and you own safety. Always assist if you come across someone in need. Finally report any severe weather you see to your local National Weather Service or local authorities. The big concept though is being safe and ethical. Do not put yourself or others in danger when you are storm chasing in cases such as speeding, recklessly driving, core punching, or putting yourself in the path of a tornado. When you chase be aware of your surroundings and the storm, follow all laws, and be prepared. If you never have storm chased before and would like to, you can go on a tornado tour guide trip, chase with an experienced chaser, read books on weather or the Internet to educate yourself, and attend a local National Weather Service storm spotting class which is free. Storm chasing is dangerous so do not engage in it if you are going to be reckless and unsafe or if you don't accept responsibility for your actions. Short and sweet, be safe and ethical!
